目前國內生產的400馬力冷再生機，可以對瀝青路面灰土路基進行冷再生作業(yè)，還可以當路拌機用。國外主流廠家早已不再生產類似功率的專用路拌機，取而代之的是路面冷再生機，除了路面路基冷再生施工，其使用范圍還包括了傳統(tǒng)的路拌機應用范圍，而且施工效率大大高于傳統(tǒng)的路拌機。對照國外的經驗，功率為400馬力的小冷再生機(相對600馬力的冷再生機)，將會逐步代替國內的傳統(tǒng)后置路拌機。冷再生機比傳統(tǒng)的后墨轉子路拌機施工質量穩(wěn)定，這得益于冷再生機的結構特點（銑刨轉子在兩橋中間〉，但國內生產的大多數(shù)400馬力冷再生機與后置轉子路拌相比，工作速度卻不占優(yōu)勢。徐州銳馬生產的WR2100L路面冷再生機，在實際應用中，利用可換擋的雙轉速轉子，有著普通路拌無法比擬的優(yōu)勢，工作時可以速度更快,拌和效果可調，混合料可以打的更細。

一臺WR2100L在東營施工，這個作業(yè)面是灰土拌和，要求拌和深度為35公分，比一般的灰土拌和工作深度深很多。當時工地有兩臺后置路拌，一臺徐州雷馬的WB21H，一臺徐工的WB21，兩臺拌和機在壓力很高的情況下〈達到了25Mpa )，一分鐘也只能走3米多，而我們的WR2100L采用一檔，壓力在20Mpa時，行走速度也能跑7一8米/分鐘。到了年底機器老板去結算，這臺冷再生的平均油耗明顯的低，按平方計算，油耗比路拌機低40%，租賃方很滿意，跟機器老板說明年一定再來。這是一檔低速大扭矩的應用。還有一個工地，在淄博，業(yè)主要求灰土拌和要打的細，為達到要求，一般的后置路拌需要打兩遍才能達到要求，還是這個用戶的WR2100L,采用二擋，一遍就達到了業(yè)主的要求，工地施工追求的是效益，一刀活達到要求肯定比兩刀省油。
